A young girl and a magical bookworm explore the stories of 20 women icons of Bharat. A co-production between Puppetica Media and NFDC.

Punyakoti Tales (Pilot completed)

An episodic series of 26 x 11 minute episodes structured to ponder on human values drawn from global folktales. Presented as bedtime stories told by the cow to its calf.

Rani Durgavati

A biopic about the regent of Gondwana and her mighty fight against the invading Mughals. This short film of 22 minutes was developed as a pilot for a series of episodes on lesser known historical figures. This was a paid project executed for a client, Bharatiya Samskriti Trust in Chennai in 2022.

Rani Abbakka

Rani Abbakka bravely fought and stalled the expansionist plans of the Portuguese in the 16th Century. This short film of 22 minutes was developed as a pilot for a series of episodes on lesser known historical figures. This was a paid project executed for a client, Bharatiya Samskriti Trust in Chennai in 2021.

Lalitaditya

The king of Kashmir who integrated almost all of Bharat almost 1800 ago. The unsung hero of Indian history. This short film (9 minutes) was developed as a pilot for a series of episodes on lesser known historical figures. This was a paid project executed for a client, Bharatiya Samskriti Trust in Chennai in 2021.





Ayyan (Concept)

It tells the story of a jungle boy who is adopted by the king of the land, but has to overcome a palace intrigue to claim his rightful place.  The popular legend of Swami Ayyappa's Vanavas has deep philosophical meanings that are very much part of Sanatana Dharma. Duration: 90 minutes.

Ambarisha (Concept)

The story of Ambarisha is from the Bhagavata Puran. The pious king of Ayodha has a protective cover of Sudarsana. When an angry Durvasa tries to test the devotion of Ambarisha, the wrath of Narayana is incurred that cannot be stopped even by the Trinity. It is an excellent Puranic story about the refined amotion of Bhakti.

Malini (Concept)

An older Malini or Ashtavakra falls in love with the teenage Lord Krishna when he comes to Mathura to fight his uncle Kamsa. This unique attempt to treat emotions in a refined way (Bhakti) is unique in the Hindu culture. This movie is an attempt to do that.
